I remember back in the late 70s sneaking peeks at one special television series I knew I could grow to love, if only Mom and Dad would let me watch the thing. It was "Battlestar Galactica", and even the small snippets I managed to view were enough to fire my imagination.

Around the same time, another series aired, one which my parents DID allow me to watch: "Project: UFO". These two shows, as well as the wonderful Carl Sagan series on PBS, "Cosmos", began a slight obsession for me that has lasted to this day.
